My Lunch: Chicken Strips

30 January 2011

Yesterday I had chicken strips for lunch. They were awesome. How did I make them? I took them out of the freezer and stuck them in the oven for 15 minutes. Now that’s high class.

But one cannot eat chicken strips plain. I like mine with honey mustard. Honey mustard is the BEST THING EVER! And I made it myself! How? I mixed some honey with some mustard and voila! The name is quite literal. It’s kinda spicy because I used dijon mustard, but you can counteract that with more honey or by adding mayonnaise to lighten it. Even though the chicken strips were frozen, they tasted good to me. They get nice and crispy on the outside and stay moist and tender on the inside. The right mix of spices round it all out for a satisfying lunch.

YUM. And it’s so easy!
